  • All entrants to write the following poem:

Rules for School 

Get to school before the bell. 
In the classroom, do not yell. 
In the hallway, do not run. 
Make sure that your homework’s done. 

Tie your shoes and comb your hair. 
Don’t start dancing on your chair. 
Don’t draw pictures on the wall. 
Don’t ride skateboards in the hall. 

Don’t chew bubble-gum in class. 
Don’t bring bugs in from the grass. 
Don’t say things you know are rude. 
Never, ever throw your food. 

These are rules you should obey. 
As for me, I’m sad to say 
that’s a list of every rule 
I forgot today at school.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • ICT leaflets, original poems and stories are to be delivered to the Show Office in Augher by Friday 28th June at 4pm – these classes are all prejudged in early July. 
  • All other entries are to be brought to the show grounds on Monday 28th July 2024 between 2pm and 5pm
  • All schools are responsible for displaying and collecting their entries
  • One car pass will be sent to each school for the day of the show to facilitate the collection of entries at the end of the show between 4pm and 4.30pm
  • Schools are responsible for picking up there own entries on the Show Day, quite often children and parents are keen to come and collect items themselves on the day, this should be encouraged from 4pm onwards
  • Only one entry per child per class
  • Please enter the child's name as well as the school's name when sending in entries
  • Please email all entries rather than sending in paper copies to the Show Office: cloghershow27@hotmail.com
