THE FILLY FOAL ALL IRELAND CHAMPIONSHIP
RULES AND CONDITIONS

  1. This competition is open to foals registered or eligible to be registered in a World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) studbook or a Department of Agriculture Food and The Marine (DAFM) approved studbook with recorded breeding.
  2. Two foals may be selected to qualify for the final if the judges and the I.S.A. agree the standard is high enough.
  3. Foals must be led at all times.
  4. Exhibitors to both the qualifier and the final must have the mare’s passport available for inspection prior to entry to the judging ring. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to immediate disqualification.
  5. Passports & Microchips should be read by a veterinary surgeon at the final.
  6. Foals qualified for final are not eligible to enter any other class at the show
  7. The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show
  8. These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A. Rules.

ENTRY FEE: To Qualifying Show £10 to Final €20
PRIZES: Champion: €800; 2nd €400; 3rd €300; 4th €250; 5th €200; 6th €150; 7th to end €50 each. A prize will be presented for Combination of Best Turned Out Foal & Most Suitably Dressed Handler 
Final: MOATE SHOW — SUNDAY 27th August 2023

Horses - Opening Notes

 

All entries should be on the field by 9.00a.m. for judging to commence at 9.30a.m

We will be operating 7 showing rings at the same time.

RING 1: BROOD MARES AND FOALS, R.I.D HORSES, HORSES YOUNG STOCK &
             MIXED ABILITIES RIDING
RING 2: CONNEMARA PONIES IN-HAND; PONIES IN-HAND AND SHETLAND PONIES
RING 3: RIDDEN PONIES & CONNEMARA RIDDEN PONIES
RING 4: RIDDEN HORSES
RING 5: WORKING HUNTER HORSES (Judging commencing @10.30 SHARP)
RING 6: FAMILY PONY (Judging commencing @ 10AM SHARP)
RING 7: WORKING HUNTER PONIES (Judging commencing @ 10AM SHARP)

NOTE - In Classes 1 to 95 no prize will be awarded in respect of any animal, which in the opinion of the Society's Honorary Veterinary Surgeons, is not sound.

ENTRY FEE TO ALL HORSE AND PONY CLASSES £10.00 (unless otherwise stated)
ENTRY FEE TO ISA QUALIFIERS £10.00/€10
PRIZES IN HORSE & PONY CLASSES 1st Prize: £25; 2nd Prize: £15; 3rd Prize: £10, (unless otherwise stated).

In the Event of Insuffient Entries Classes May be Suitably Amalgamated
